Family Lantern helps families start an informational conversation about home care and home health options. These terms explain what the service does—and what it does not do.
A care connection service, not a provider
Family Lantern is a service that pairs families with home care and home health providers that specialize in the support they need. Family Lantern vets the providers it works with and completes a background check on each one, but Family Lantern is independent of the providers and does not license, certify, or employ caregivers, so please confirm licensing, insurance, and caregiver screening before you hire. Family Lantern is not a home care provider, home health agency, medical provider, insurer, or emergency service. Family Lantern does not provide care, diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, or guarantee that a provider will contact you or accept your request.
Provider conversations
Services, availability, pricing, coverage, licensing, scheduling, and eligibility are determined by each third-party provider. You are responsible for asking questions, reviewing provider information, and deciding whether to continue a conversation or enter an arrangement.
Information and consent
By submitting a request, you agree to provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge. If you check the consent box, you acknowledge that the request may be shared with third-party home care and home health providers for referral and marketing purposes, and that those providers may contact you by phone, text, or email.

Appropriate use
Do not use this site to submit emergency information, unlawful content, someone else’s private information without permission, or information you know to be false. For a medical emergency, call 911.
